Galway’s only True Links… Connemara Championship Golf Links, is nestled between the scenic splendour of the 12 Bens mountain range and the rugged Atlantic Ocean. This beautiful isolated links course, founded in 1973 and designed by Eddie Hackett. From the testing dog leg opening hole through to the breathtaking back 9, the course is a test for all levels.
The best way to describe the Arnold Palmer designed South Course is that of an inland links course. However, its true attributes do not stop there. The course has many dramatic landscapes with dune style mounding throughout.
The Arnold Palmer designed North Course at The K Club is quite simply, one of Europe’s most spectacular courses. It charms, it entices and invariably, brings out the very best in your game.
Headfort Golf Club is home to 2 courses, Headfort Old and Headfort New. The Sunday Independent’s Dermot Gilleece wrote: “This is potentially the most attractive 36-hole parkland facility in the country.”
