2027 – 10th Anniversary – Event Details
OPENING FOR BOOKINGS MID AUGUST!
Join us in historic Kilkenny City for the 10th annual Club Choice Ireland Senior Gent’s Open!
Hotel Kilkenny will again play host as the perfect base from which to enjoy all that this vibrant city has to offer and will provide luxurious accommodation and fine dining for the event.
First off the tee on Monday 23rd May is the stunning Carlow Golf Club. On Tuesday 24th we visit one of the country’s premier venues Mount Juliet Golf Club and the final day’s play on Wednesday 25th takes us to the historic and firm-favourite Kilkenny Golf Club.
Each team will consist of 4 male players who must be over 59 (on 23rd May 2027) and hold an official WHS handicap.
Each day your team will be split into pairs and then play in consecutive tee times opposite another pair from a different team. Your pairings are rotated each day. The format is Fourball Betterball with 85% handicaps with a maximum playing handicap of 28.

Price: €TBC* per person sharing.
*Prices are in Euro and based on 4 people travelling per car. Teams of four gents, all over 59. Terms and conditions apply.
Non-refundable booking deposit of €/£500 per team to secure your place.
Optional extras such as an additional night’s accommodation or rounds of golf can be arranged.
