Founded in 1912, Waterford Golf Club overlooks the historic city of Waterford and is regarded as one of Ireland’s finest inland golf courses.
The front nine was designed by Willie Park Jr, a two-time Open Champion, while the back nine was crafted by five-time Open winner James Braid — a rare collaboration between two legendary course designers.
The dramatic closing stretch, highlighted by a magnificent downhill 18th, offers sweeping views across three counties, with a narrow, gorse-lined fairway demanding accuracy from the tee.
