The local Irish people are one of the reasons why we return year after year. We feel we will be looked after. That of course applies also to the golf. Club Choice Ireland selected five courses to suit us, Arklow and Rosslare offered great links golf, Coollattin and New Ross superb parkland settings, and Bunclody once again gave us a glimpse of golf heaven. All were in superb condition and we received a warm welcome at each. We split our visit between our usual Whites Hotel in Wexford Town and a first visit to the Ashdown Park Hotel in Gorey. We had a great time there and were invited to join private functions on successive evenings. I’m very happy to say we are already planning for next year.
