Described as “Ireland’s Augusta,” Woodenbridge Golf Course is steeped in history. The current 18 hole layout was created in 1994 when the pre-existing 9 hole course – dating back to the 1890’s – was extended. Seamlessly blending tradition and modern design, the course incorporates the flows of the Avoca and the Aughrim rivers, which come into play on ten of the holes. This makes Woodenbridge one of the most scenic courses you can play on in Ireland, while also making it a unique challenge for players of any handicap. A par 71 course (72 for ladies), the current course record stands at 67.
