{"id":2501,"date":"2019-04-17T17:46:11","date_gmt":"2019-04-17T17:46:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.clubchoiceireland.com\/us\/?p=2501"},"modified":"2022-07-18T18:21:45","modified_gmt":"2022-07-18T18:21:45","slug":"team-ireland-win-the-stena-line-media-masters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.clubchoiceireland.com\/us\/blog\/2019\/04\/17\/team-ireland-win-the-stena-line-media-masters\/","title":{"rendered":"Team Ireland win the Stena Line Media Masters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to Team Ireland on their win at the inaugural Stena Line Media Masters golf tournament.<\/p>\n<p>This terrific new event gave us two great days of golf, showcasing the wonderful courses at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubchoiceireland.com\/us\/blog\/golf_clubs\/powerscourt-golf-club\/\">Powerscourt<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubchoiceireland.com\/us\/blog\/golf_clubs\/druids-glen-golf-club\/\">Druids Glen<\/a>. As always, the service and hospitality at both venues was second to none.<\/p>\n<p>Organised in conjunction with Stena Line and Duffy Rafferty Communications, the Media Masters saw golf journalists and writers from the UK and Ireland face off on the greens and fairways of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubchoiceireland.com\/us\/east-coast\/\">Ireland&#8217;s East<\/a>. After a challenging first day, Team Ireland had a narrow 3-1 lead. Day 2 saw them pull ahead, finally winning the competition 9-3 overall.<\/p>\n<p>A huge thank you to all involved in making the tournament a terrific success.
